Domestic Porcelain uses North American clays to achieve similar plasticity, translucency and temperature range as other porcelains. Clay comes in 50 lbs. quanities.
 
Temperature Range: Fires Between Cone 8-10, 2280-2345° F
Shrink Rate: 14-15%
Texture: Smooth
Best Uses: Throwing relatively vertical pieces
Color: White
Qualities: Translucent, Very plastic
Glazes: Use glazes that mature between cone 8 and 10.
