An excellent body, medium
texture with all the requirements for experimenting with this
time-honored Japanese technique; low maturity, high porosity and
the ability to withstand thermal shock.
   
Temperature Range: Fires Between Cone 06-10,
1828-2345° F
Shrink Rate: 7-13%
Texture: Very Coarse
Best Uses: Raku
Color: Light Gray - Bisque, Smokey
Black - Raku
Qualities: Withstands thermal shock,
Low maturity, High porosity
Glazes:

Use glazes that mature between cone 06 and 10.
