Name Northern Light w/Iron Cone 10 Clay
Description Equally suited for sculpture or throwing, this clay can even be raku fired! This fireclay body contains a fine grog that adds extra standing strength. This clay reduces very well. The iron produces a deep red brown color.
Temperature Range Fires Between Cone 8-10, 2280-2345° F
Shrinkage Cone 8 - 10%, Cone 10 - 10.5%
Absorption Cone 8 - 3.2%, Cone 10 - 2.6%

Due to the suspension of operations at the Custer Feldspar mine and plant, we reformulated this clay body with G200 EU feldspar.
